"When I learned five years ago that I was headed for osteoporosis, I decided strength training was one thing I could do to help myself. My initial thought was to take five or six lessons, buy some weights, and work out at home-the idea of working out at a gym just didn’t sound like fun, even though my husband had been singing the praises of working out for years! To make a long story short, Fitness Together makes exercising so fun, I kept signing up for more and decided working out at home wasn’t what I thought it would be! I am more aware of my body now, I move easier, have more energy, and just feel better. It’s great to be able to wear smaller sizes! I am happy to recommend Fitness Together to anyone who asks!"

“Over the years I have been through many programs for diet and/or exercise.  Even though I had been successful in those at the times, none of them had stuck with me as a change in lifestyle.  I had noticed a Fitness Together ad online on NewsOK.com last fall.  After reviewing their website, the locations were not appealing to me.  Then later on I noticed a location was coming Downtown.  I thought to myself I’d check it out after college hoops and tax season were done for me.   That day came on 05/03/06.  Upon entering their building for an errand I noticed the signage and remembered that I was going to check this out.  I met Ha and Josh on that day.   I liked what I saw and heard.  The three big pluses were 1 client/1 trainer,  the nutrition program, and the Downtown OKC location.  On 05/09/06 I had my free workout session and also made the decision to make the financial commitment that it will take to become fit and change my lifestyle.  On top of this, it does take a time commitment, also.   Inactive knees can be bothersome at times.  Not so much any more since my workouts.  Four weeks into the workouts, I can now mow and weed eat two yards in one session.   The professional staff keeps me challenged and pushes me when they feel the need.   I’m seeing the results in the numbers, as well as by how I am feeling.  For me this is just the tip of the iceberg.  Progress will continue with “our” hard work Together and hopefully firmly planted by when my next college hoops season comes dribbling in!!
